Mother Road Theatre Company Presents it’s first annual
New Mexico Young Playwrights Festival
The NEW MEXICO YOUNG PLAYWRIGHTS FESTIVAL is a groundbreaking project that nurtures young writers and future theatre-goers. The festival is a continuation of Mother Road’s dedication to providing standards-based education and increasing literacy rates in New Mexico’s youth.
Admission is FREE!
What you’ll experience: Three plays have been chosen from dozens submitted by K through 12 students from around NM. Each will receive a professional staged reading and a distinguished panel of judges will choose the winner who will receive a $100 prize. The winning play will then be submitted to the National Young Playwright’s Competition in New York City.
