Steven G. Meilleur is President and owner of PRAXIS Management Solutions, LLC, a training and consulting firm specializing in small business, public, and non-profit organization management, human resource management, organizational development, strategic and operational planning, and organizational research & assessment since 1985. He is employed as VP of Human Resources & Risk Management for Adelante Development Center, where he manages the full Human Resources, Training & Organizational Learning, and Risk Management Divisions for Adelante, a 560+ employee social services agency providing services in support of people with developmental disabilities based in Albuquerque, NM.

Dr. Meilleur’s professional experience also includes having served as Director of Human Resources for the City of Rio Rancho, NM, and as Human Resources Team Leader and Manager of Organizational Learning with Plains Electric Generation & Transmission Cooperative, New Mexico’s rural electric cooperative system. He has also served as Director of the Center for Legal Education at the State Bar of New Mexico, Director of the Training Institute with the University of New Mexico’s Division of Continuing Education, and Associate Director of the Management Development Center at the UNM Anderson School of Management. He is on the faculty of Webster University in the Human Resource Development graduate program, where he received the 2007 Outstanding Faculty Award. He is also a faculty trainer for the Albuquerque TV-I Workforce Training Center, the UNM Division of Continuing Education, and the American Management Association Extension Institute. He has taught as an adjunct faculty member in human resources development, management, and organizational behavior at the University of New Mexico, the College of Santa Fe, and Southern Illinois University.

Steven has spoken at numerous conferences and workshops across the country, and is a published author in the areas of human resources, leadership & management development, organizational change & innovation, strategic & operational planning, non-profit management, and board development.
